Had my bike tuned ...

     Well I thought my bike was running ok with the canned FM map, it was ok I guess for running in which is all it was intended for but.. 

     
    The tune was way off, rich down low and very lean up high. 
     
    Ignition had some weird settings too
     
    So my bike is at 106, has 585 cams, Stock heads and throttle body AND the much hated short shots which I love so at this stage they're staying !
     
    Anyway  here's the results:
     
    Picked up  8hp,  88.78  up to  96.83 
    and as for the torque picked up  11.7 ft/lbs,  103.14  up to  114.85
     
    They were 4th gear runs. The big thing is how it feels, way snappier and pulls like f**k which I thought it did before but nothing like how it is now !
     
    VERY happy to say the least.
     
    So glad I got her tuned professionally by someone at the top of their game.

    You can't beat a purpose built map and experienced dyno tuning. A canned map and that's just what you were sent is made some place not near you for a motor that's not yours in conditions different to where you are.
    Every one raves on about FM and how good their stuff is. I gave them 2 chances and never never never again and will never suggest them to any one else.

    That's excellent. You have similar peak torque as mine with 14cube less. Glad you are happy mate.

    Cheers guys, yeah that hp is about the max possible with stock heads and to get 114 torque well I'm stoked !
