99 roadking. last of the evos with efi.   backfired the other day on start up. has done odd occasions in the past with no detriment. but this time im left with smoke from exhaust from forward cylinder mostly at idle.  not quite oil  smoke and not all running rich smoke. more like a blend of over rich mixture on forward cylinder washing or mixing with oil .  bring up the rpms and  not so noticeable as at idle. doesn't need to idle for 5 minutes before smoking either. does it right from start up and even after a 30 k run.  so question.   has the backfire damaged a breather somewhere ? I have no idea where that might be. or has the ecu suffered something?  . over next couple of days ill pull the plugs to check on my theory of over richness,but until then feel free to offer advise, also might be relevant, but it idles smooth and on both cylinders.and runs well at all speeds. no missing etc. runs a stage one breather kit Im told as well.
