Firstly is the bike a 2013 or a 2003 ? IMMENSE differences

If it's a 2013 the mechanic is telling you to open the "Active exhaust" flapper valve.

You don't need to grind it , just jam it open with a self tapping screw or a pop rivet. Cost ? Nothing but your time

AND the flapper valve is in the TOP header just before the muffler , it has a cable going to it you can't miss it !

I still think its the Flux Capacitor too...

By the way if your going to put a screw in the Axtive Exhaust Valve to lock it in the open postion, from my experience,  you will have to disable the Actuator , otherwise the cable will be trying to pull back and forth when idleing and riding.   Best bet, take it to dealer and they will disable the system in the open postion  via the ECU.   If you have an advanced tuner, you may be able to disable with that . 

Fuck sake you blokes, yous all know it could only be the flux capacitor and hydromixer if he was going back in time, he mentioned nothing about that.

For that matter, he didn't say he was going into the future either, so assuming he is, maybe he should check the spark plugs, HT leads, Coils, or a sticky valve,,, in that order.

Besides, the flux capacitor and hydromixer must be working OK for him to have posted here about something that happened in the past, and for him to have been in the future to post about it.

Sorry 2013 model.yeah I was just surprised to hear the head hd mechanic tell me to get the die grinder out.if you bought a new car that was 3500ks ols you would expect the dealer to fix issues.not happy at all.oh yeah btw the spokes are all rusting and they told me I would have no chance claiming that under a factory warranty..shitbox
