Just received a helmet in the post from a very well known aussie store. Looking at the AS1698 sticker, it's different to all of my other helmets.. it could just be an update in the sticker design, but you can really see the void markings in it, although it doesn't look tampered with at all.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking...was just wondering whether they've updated the sticker design as my other lids have different stickers, but could've been manufactured earlier than this one..

Will go back to the retailer and see what they say.

Apparently the AS marking inside the helmet is also important.
What does that look like ?

Just spoke with the guys at the store (whom are always helpful) and that's the layout of the new stickers. So all is good and it's a legit AS1698 sticker/approved helmet.
Will leave this here as a reference for anyone else that queries the same thing, as it does look very different from the older labels.

speedzter, the patch is sewn into the lining as well.
