2006 Dyna with standard rims...

What is the fattest tyre I can fit without making mods?

I am told 180 (normal is 160)

Does anyone know?

 

You can fit a Screaming eagle 180 on your rim which is the only 180 tyre that will or fit on the std 4.5" rim (so I hear)

Or you can fit up 5.5" wide rim and then you can go to a 200mm wide tyre (with minimal other work.)

Yep, screaming eagle 180 is narrower at the beads than others. Haven't heard about the Pirelli.

Don't bother with the Scorcher, they are fuckin terrible tyres. Mods when using a 5.5 rim and 200mm tyre are minimal. Just a little tidy up of wiring really.
