G'day all I have a set of Kuryakyn grips on my bike and the rubber inserts are starting to get a bit sticky so anyone know of a way maybe to stop this and get rid of the sticky feeling without buying a new set of grips, I think at one stage most of us have experienced this just wondering if anyone has found a fix for it cheers.

If these are the Kury ISO type grips the rubber panel inserts are replaceable from Kury.

I had this happen to me with some HD grips and what I did to fix the problem was to:

Make a solution of a gentle liquid soap and warm water. Use a somewhat soft brush to gently scrub the grips and leave it for 10 minutes to soak in.

Rinse well with warm fresh water and repeat the above soap solution procedure.

Rinse well again and air dry completely. When totally dry shake some talcum powder over the affected area and rub in. Don't worry if there is a bit of white excess powder as it will disappear fairly quickly with use.

No guarantee it will work on your grips but it did work for me on the HD grips I was using at the time.
