Hey busta I'm hearing you loud and clear.

I sold my '03 Busa because it would've ended up killing me. Nothing like wheelspin at $2.40 with the missus on the back to change your way of thinking. Had a crusty old '78 shovelhead when I was 19. Rode the arse of it, sold it and have missed it ever since. Busa was a mad, mad machine but like said before, lacked the soul. Was quick. Shit was it quick! But wife, kids etc had me thinking about staying above the ground for a little longer.

Now, have a stock-as-a-rock '93 FXR that graces my garage and wouldn't sell it for quids. Wife is buying me a custom paint job for chrissy. WOOHOO!!!

    Take it easy guys.

I had a few Dirt & Road Jap bikes & was keen on getting a BMW GS series bike. Looked around & a mate said go look at a Harley, your not getting any younger! So the thought of falling off again on a BMW was going down the gurgler in a hurry.
I went to a HD dealer & looked around, sat on a few & just thought then & there this is what I want. I rode one & it was just damn comfortable. Also the sound, there is nothing that comes close to a HD twin going through it motion while riding, singing its own little tune.

Am looking at the moment to go up to (well not sure really, going to do a ride day this month & stick my arse on a few different bikes) either a Softail or a Dyna. After I ride them hopefully the answer will come to me.
    Cheers

Saw Easy Rider back in 69.. Always liked the "Billy" bike.
Wanted to get something like it but TOO many money loopholes to jump thru.
Finally got something similar (To me). November 83 Evo FXST Slim.

due to racing accidents I could no longer ride sports bikes for longer than 20 mins without being in agony from back and wrists, I didn't want to give up riding so I looked at cruisers and visited my local dealer and next thing I know i'm riding away on a Fatbob
