i have a 95cu dyna  with 10.25/1 pistons, hellam boyz heads and have had 585 ezy syart cams ,i,m changing back to the 211 screamin eagle cams as i found the 585,s have a big flat spot as they don,t come on till 3000-3300 rpm, i have a screaming eagle 6500 mk1 power commander,i am thinking of changing power commanders if there is a better one out there ,iv,e never had any dramas with the S-E one, am i chasing my tail for more money and little gain or is there something that will make a difference, the bike is 93hp with 102ft/tq as it is  with 211,s, it also a carbie model, all advice welcome ,Cheers Speed

Speed, just a heads up, the SE ignition module is not a power commander.
Power Commander's are a trade name for DynoJet's piggyback module, and made by them.
Do you have the hand controller for the SE module ?
Dynoharley is on the money. The SE Ignition is probably not holding you back, but you would need to spend money in other area's.
Did you rejet to suit the 585 Cams ?
Do you know what volume your heads were set at ? Cranking Compression ?

Thanks for the feedback ,paulc hellam built the heads , and i had it dyno,ed with the 211,s but not the 585,s as the only dyno shop in coffs shut down and i hav,nt changed the jetting from 211,s to 585,s. i,ll put the 211,s back in take it to VBrissie and dyno it and go from there ,Cheers
