Hi guys, just thought I would see what your thought are on my new proposed build. I want to do some recreational drag racing maybe some Test and Tunes and Sportsmans Series.

I already have some SE254e cams, SERT , VO2 AC and 2-1 Big Radius V&h in my 103 cu at the moment it produces 97HP and 108TQ.

Have been speaking to the mechanic about some builds and I think I'm going to go with it. Hopeing to get  120+ HP and around the same TQ.

    S&S 625 Gear Drive Cams

    Feuling lifters

    58mm Throddle Body

    Ported &Flowed Heads

    New Pistons

    head gasket

I've also been considering going up to a 106 cu while the motor is apart, I'm not to sure if it's worth the extra $$$. Any advise or recommendations would be great.

Your getting new pistons and all the other work, may as well bore your barrels to 106/107

I would be doing a run out check on the crank before I ordered gear drive cams if you haven't already done it
120 sq on a 103 and maintaining mice street manners in summer is a big ask as it is with a 106. It's doable but you will need everything sorted out nicely and attention paid to detail.
Who is going to do the work?
Things you might want to consider if not already
a descent clutch set up if not already fitted, Oil cooler, possibly a new pipe, lifters, push rods, oil pump, and cam plate, maybe compensator pending what you have now and the condition of it, Valve size not mentioned above, injectors bla bla.

G'day Oz & Daggs. I've got Fred from Procycle doing the work for me. I'm not to sure what exactly they are doing to the heads yet, I'm under the impression that they will flow the heads suited for those cams.
I've been told that the Harley Clutches can take a bit of punishment but might consider putting stronger clutch springs in to get it to bite a bit harder.
Was looking at oil coolers, any suggestions what brands of oil coolers work best? Harley ones look good but I'm sure there over priced.

About $590 for a 10 row centre mount delivered from Jagg, which is exactly what I want. Will see if I can get a better price because Jagg wanted $174 Freight. Thanks HogBag

send this guy an email and ask him for his site, I can't find it any where but I got a 10 row horizontal and 10 row vertical from him.
Jagg 0713-0097: $209.95 and Jagg 0713-0064: $199.95 plus $60 shipping. TOTAL due: $469.90. That was the best all up price I could find a few months ago

Thanks for that Ozymax. Will drop him an email today. I think Rollie's sell them too, might give him a try.
