It's possible to alter/change anything on a harley - maybe you would prefer mid-mounts ? What bike do u have ?

Goto your nearest hd dealer can check out some of the other sporties that have mid mounts, sit and them and see if that's what feels better.

Yep - always a good way to go. I have mid mounts for a 2003 here if they're any good to you ? The type of seat, bars etc are all going to have an effect on which pegs suit u best. e.g. a short-reach seat may make all the difference. I took a 1200 with a Sundowner seat for a test ride a while ago - pushed me forward and lifted me up so much that the forwards felt like mid-mounts

Have seen these kits around, genuine HD part. Not sure if this is what your looking for but may be worth a look.

Reduced Reach Forward Control Conversion Kit - Sportster

Love the look and riding position you get with forward controls but not comfortable with the long stretch forward? This Forward Control Conversion Kit repositions the Original Equipment footpegs and foot controls up and back by 2", and positions the controls closer to the rider for added comfort and confidence. This kit provides additional leg clearance around the chassis and air cleaner, by moving the footpegs outward 1.5" (left) and 0.5" (right). The reduced reach places the rider's boot at the proper pivot point for improved leverage, while maintaining the "foot-forward" riding profile. This easy-to-install Conversion Kit includes heavy-duty steel mounts and shortened brake rod and reuses Original Equipment control supports and brake and shift levers, or can be personalized with your choice of custom lever styles.
