    Hi Guys,

Anyone got a 120r with heaps of kms on it. I'd be interested to hear how it fairs. Had my 120r for nearly 12months, only got 13,000kms on it. I have a tendency to rev it out a bit because that seems to be where the grunt is, can't be good for longevity but. Would be nice to know what I have to look forward too. Whole rebuild, partial or shit load of trouble free kms.

Or any info on 120r, just love talking about, so enthused.

    Cheers Dutchy.

Got over 30 000klic's on mine, done a run to Newman 2500ks in 3 days had really good fuel economy better than most of the smaller cubed bikes.

I have changed out the valve springs to beehives and changed out the SE lifter as heard they are shit, fitted a low lift S&S 625 cam all to get some longeverty inthe valve train and add compression with some CP domed pistions.

Makes talk a lot earler now andand makes power to the rev limiter

I was told by many that my crank wouldn,t last 20 000 ks but still have 0015" crank runout so I have geardrives,

Dutchy warm it up , before you ride off & ride normal till it warms up fully, & ride it every day, use quality oil, should last a long time. i've seen some (not 120r ) harleys with 350,000k before head was lifted & looked ok had a rebuild & last i seen was going strong 400,000+ stock motor guy warms up b4 riding off every time. but in general i don't think a bloke that pulls a syock motor out to put a 120R in would be real worried about how long it would last. as its his Toy.

    enjoy it!

Krash Kinkade I warm it up 99% of time. Had the odd occasion when had to leave early in the morning. Then I ride real easy until warmed up. Yeah your right about it being a toy, but would be nice to get couple of years out of it before rebuild.
