Story about the Bandidos causing a problem at a restaurant somewhere, whatever.... Just thought it interesting that they ended the story with a line about the rest of the Bandidos riding off on Harley Davidson motorcycles!

With quality journalism like this, there's little doubt that the real cause of all the 'bikie problems' is those damn Harley Davidson motorcycles....

Yeah I think alot of people get there nuts in a bunch because they think they have some percieved alignment with outlaws because we all ride Harleys . Total BS while I am no great fan of the poilice as an organisation I do have a degree of respect for the sometimes tough job they have ,I do think they are smart enough in the main to distinguish the difference between  a harley enthusiast and an outlaw bikie .   might be that 1% patch along with the club colours.??

The fact was, you last few posters, not you OP, and i saw it too, was that the reporter said they rode away on H-D motorcycles. Google it, you will find several clips on the subject if youse can be bothered.
BUT and we know this also, is the bikers not only ride H-D's but also victory's and boulevards and triumphs and prolly others.
This is the issue. It is only the H-D's that get a mention which causes the stereotypical stigma attached to most people riding them. The reporting is biased. FACT.

I am in no way associated with any club, but i still get the looks from joe public whilst riding my H-D. This never happened before on any of my previous 13 jappas.

Could'nt agree more with chopp . A lot of people want the percieved glamour of association with outlaw clubs but dont like the negative aspects this brings = cant have it both ways. Ever been on a poker run , toy run  ,with a patched club? Do you honestly not realise that the intel on every number plate photographed by in dash police cars is not recorded and kept on record . Guilt by association is a shitty reflection on current society but it is what it is.

From the reports I saw the other lad told the cameras he has no association with any club and that he threw the first punch so as to get the filth involved to help him out .  N ever seen the other club whose name some here keep  trying to drag into this reported anywhere in regards to this incident ,,,,,except Here ,,,which is disrespectful  ,,in my opinion

Seems that under the new /Proposed QLD laws any group of three riders can be pulled up by PC Plod although the actual riding together is only a criminal matter if the riders are part of an OMG.

I had a Highway Patrol neighbour tell me once that theres idiots in every profession.
This was after I told him about a neighbour (Also Highway Patrol) that pulled me up for noisy pipes and made me go to the EPA and do the Song and Dance.
I also have been involved with one of my sons mates that got arrested at a party on Aussie Day this year for threatening a Riot Squad member that knocked his Girlfriend to the Ground.
A Current Affair set it up and when he went to Court, Hounded him all day until he Abused them while they had their Cameras Rolling.
All shown on ACA. Kid got 15 months jail. Its all run by the media, Seriously, I will never believe anything These fuking Assholes put on the screen again.

What a fucking joke, have been pulled over the last 2 days doing fuck all and copping the smart arse attitude by the police. Fucking bunch of cockheads. But they keep associating the shot police officer in the media rite next to a page on 'bikies'

It's all over folks, the police have cracked down and 'the 2 most senior member of a club in currently in the spot lite' found to be in possession of steroids and failure to dispose of a syringe. Good job police, cleaning up the streets with that 20million.

So about 6pm last night on my way home from work riding the Fatbob, doing speed limit ( no seriously ) i see a red and blue flash in the mirrors, so i pull over and 2 cops get out of the car, about this time it's starting to rain i have my laptop i use for work in the pack . so Copper 1 a young cockhead i must add goes to me  get ya license out blow on the bag and after that swab your mouth with this. So i do all that while being polite by this time i'm soaked and i say can we hurry this up i have a laptop in this bag and it can't get wet, cop 1 turns and says " i'll keep you here as long as i fucking want ok...... and is that laptop yours? " .

By now i have been in the rain for 25 mins just sitting there waiting, he takes a pic of my bike , I must point out that i have no connections to any club. he writes down details, takes a pic of me and flicks my license back at me and says righto fuck off.......... My response to this is ok fuckwit cya

This is bullshit, ok we ride bikes, we enjoy it, it's a hobby for some it's a way of life. i know i love my bike but i'll be fucked if i'll be spoken to like some mongrel piece of shit dog..
