I'm changing to a single seat on my fat bob and need some help in taking off the 4 rubber mounts which are stuck to the fender to protect the fender ,anyone taken these off without damaging the paint ,it's denim black ,any info would be great.

You can buy a 'fender bib' to cover them up and leave them in place for the times that you use the dual seat.

Just putting it there as an option.

Hambone, are the rubber mounts glued or bolted on. This will be one of my next jobs to be done.

they were glued on my fatbob, I took them off and got another set and put them in the same location but on the underside of the seat. That way when I swaped to the solo seat it was a clean look and when I put the full seat on I had some protection for the paint.

Filthy, they were glued on as ozy said, i put a little heat from a heat gun and they came off easy as, not even leaving auy glue on the guard .and same as ozy put them under the 2 up seat.
