    Hi everyone,

Any body had any issues with primary or gearbox on latter model 6speed with higher output engines. I have not yet but only done 12000kms.

    Cheers Dutchy.

Been pushin north of 130/130 through my six speed for cupla years now with no issues to date.
Have always run Redline heavy shockproof oil since new, SE compensator helps too.
Bike also runs Pingel electric shifter ( no clutch shifting ) down 1/4. Last time I checked gear set it looked brand new.
If any improvement could be suggested it would be to replace OEM support plate with a Baker set up, some flexing has been reported in this area, although I still run the OEM myself.

i just stipped a box to check it while the bike was appart, motor makes 125/128 and is ridden like a dirtbike, the box showed no wear at all, 30000km's. Do your oil changes at every 5k and you wont have any issues.

As said generally the boxes are quite strong

The first 6 speeds in the early 2006 Dynas had " issues" in the states and after a very expensive recall HD built them super strong !

Also as mentioned use Redline Heavy Shockproof ( red like tomato sauce ! )

Available in 1quart bottles from Coventry's and others. No need to measure , just drain and refill.
