Rego Inspection required

     Hi all.

Bike rego due again (bloody expensive) and this year the rego papers say 'inspection required'.

Does anyone know an authorised inspection station in the Liverpool NSW area that might be not hear my 'slighly louder than legal' V&H pipes?  Don't want to have to take them off if it can be avoided.

    Thanks.

recently had to get a safety cert for sale of a bike. Went to a shop that let all but the loudest pipes pass but was told as of last week only stock pipes will be passed. A random or otherwise visit from the transport people resulted in a fine and warning of possible loss of license for issuing safety certs.
Several other shops had the same story but fortunately there is always one that will help although his cost was double.

I can handle changing my pipes for inspections but if you have to change bars with internal wiring it loses any humor.
Just a side note even my stock 10" apes don't meet the specs.... Go figure

Yes motorcycle rego is getting very expensive in NSW, my bike will be up for inspection next year.

It is getting to the stage where I may even sell the Harley and concentrate on my vintage bikes which are on club plates and the rego price is very affordable, you can get several vintage bikes on club rego compared to full rego.

There are restrictions with club rego but there are also several club runs on each month so you can get out and about .

Also if I sell the Harley I can buy a couple more old bikes which is a good thing :-)
