After reading the post I went out and bought the purple polish went home and wet rubbed  my lower fork legs down with 800 grit wet and dry paper.  The lower forks looked real bad and after I wet rubbed them they looked already better. Now this is where the purple polish comes in, I applied a small amount to a cloth and rubbed it on a small area on the fork legs and the shine was amazing. Then I thought I'll try the good old Autosol and did a small area next to the area I had just done with the purple polish and the result was the same, both had equal shine to them.  However using the purple polish was a lot easier, I didn't need to use as much elbow grease.  So I give the PURPLE POLISH  the big thumbs up, thanks guys for putting me onto the stuff.

Purple polish for me too. I remember we all used Goddards Glow many yrs ago,the in thing.  Until Autosol come out,and now it's Purple. I cleaned up my rocka wheels beautifully, amazing stuff. I just wonder how bad it is to get on your skin? Fucknose....  I use  Mr Sheen on everything to, especially my fishing rods enlightened

After seeing this thread I thought I would give purple polish a go. Glad I did, the stuff is amazing. I had some blueing on my muffler which auto sol didn't get rid of, in fact auto sol just left it with swirl marks. It took a bit of elbow grease but the purple took away most of the blueing and fixed the swirl marks.

PP is great on alloy's but the real bomb for chrome is imo Peek Polish. I really can notice the difference but love both as the effort of polishing is reduced as both products are brilliant.

I picked up PP from the local autobarn yonks ago and agree it's the best for chrome I've seen, but they don't appear to have it on their website anymore. Maybe it's on their shelves....anyhoo, any local retailers stock the M-Ron Glass? I was using mothers or something to polish my girl, but if this M-Ron is better then I'll definitely give it a go!
