Picked up this for $500- from Bunnings today , feel like Tim Taylor , " Big Tool Chest ". Good wheels , bearing drawer slides , heavy construction , seems good value .
Looks the goods....WTF going on with that brick pier set back from the roller doors, garage extension???
All you have to do is fill the tool box with lots of good tools, now that is another expense
Wont be long and your new toolbox will be too small :-)
Go to garage sales, you can pick up heaps of tools, near enough to all the time. and Sidchrome etc, there all out there. I've got enough tools for me to last a lifetime, I bought a bunnings Kinchrome, same as above, cheap gook shit, but what's inside them is more important IMO.... plus mines a blue one, fuck red. To match me rocka, and me vice/stool/compressor/air-hydraulic bike bench(now that is worth it's weight in gold for us ol farts) garage sales yeah, go to em if possible, you'd be surprised what good quality stuff sells for. My missus bought a big plastic shittie ol Fishing Tackle box that was full of Sidcrome sockets, ringies, screwdrivers and more for $25:00.. some cheap shit in there but not much, all that went into me missus toolbox ha ha ha .... All the stuff was just dirty and polished up on the wire wheel beautifully. Whitworth sizes to!! which are becoming rarer every day as well. Just a thought for you guys, I can't afford SnapOn like me boy can,who gets about $2000 a yr tool allowance through his job!!! Grrrrrr. Plus the person who knows how to use em makes a big diff.
