Hello forum people,
I have always admired the look of the Heritage and this is the second Heritage I have owned after stupidly selling my 2001 model.
This is a 2003 100 year anniversary model in the color scheme i just had to have.
Had one owner that really did look after it with only 25000 klms on it. Stock except for Screaming Eagles and a new rear rack.
Norton Commandos have been my passion and I have owned 13 over the last 43 years(makes me sound old)
My brother(on a fatboy) and I are heading from Brisbane to Phillip Island via Sydney and Canberra, then ferry across to Queenscliff to Port Campbell along the Great Ocean Road next week. maybe we will come across some forum members on the way down or back.
Rod from the forum has promised good weather, so we hope he keeps his promise(else we get wet ;-)).
Looking forward to meeting some other members some time soon enough.
Below is a photo of my new pride and joy.
Welcome mate
Welcome .
Welcome
Hi there Heritage, welcome.
Welcome aboard HF enjoy the ride.
Thank you for the welcomes and tips for the GOR trip.
I was lucky enough to have lived in Melbourne until 1980 when I moved to Brisbane where the sun shines a bit more often and you do not have to dodge tram tracks :-)
We did a few rides to Apollo Bay in the 70s on Kwaka 9s and Norton Commados etc, but never been past it. So thanks for the tip Tim, will do.
Did an oil and filter change today, fitted a new 6piston calliper and tested it out over Mt Mee today, the bike has better braking now.
Only two more sleeps to go and we are gone.
Thanks again for the well wishes.
