I'm wanting to mount a vintage style horn on my 07 Heritage softail.. And wondering if anyone has done this ?

The main problem I've come across when trying to mount it in the position at would be on an original old Springer is that there isn't much clearance when the forks moved  under load between the horn and the front fender... Scared it will hit !

    any help would be appreciated..

    cheers BC

gooday colstar. I have those leather weather gaurds attached to the crashbars and the horn is protected by those a fair bit. would have to be deluge to have water go in. I also have a very fine stainless mesh in the opening to stop bugs etc from entering., been ok for last few years. its an original 1920s claxton. still works too.
    cheers

Claxton! Cool! Once had one on an MG I wrote off....forgot to remove the horn from the wreck before I got rid of it...

you can just make it out here..where i've mounted it above the crash bar...  looks more effective when seen from the front though..
