    Michelin Commander 2.  130/80-17 & 180/65-16

I just had them fitted to my 2011 Road King today and what a huge difference from the old worn Dunlop’s.
I am not sure as yet if the change is for the better as i have only put 10km on them on the ride to work and back home.
The Dunlop’s appeared to still have a bit of tread left on them, but as i just about put the bike down twice i lost confidence in the tyres.
The first thing i noticed is the bike wants to turn.
The worn Dunlop’s just wanted to go straight ahead and you had to counter steer or move your weight to get the bike around a corner.
With the Michelins now on the bike you only have to drop your shoulder slightly and the bike will turn. The bike now feels half its weight and that’s saying something for a Road King.  But, it feels like it wants to tighten up on you as you go into a corner and you have to hold it to keep your line.  As i said, i have not scrubbed the tyres in as yet and the shop warned me they will be a bit skittish for the first 100km.

    So far very impressed.

    I love mine

Part of the reason i'm holding off on a wheel upgrade is because the different sized wheels i'm looking at means I can't run commanders

    Michelin Commander 2

I put a pair on my 06 dyna. (superglide)

Since then, I have on occaision scraped the footpegs around corners with no sign that the tires are about to let go.

I will definitely buy them again.

Ponder the Pirelli Night Dragons as well...Just fitted a set to my FXR and man they are sticky. Better and cheaper than the old ME800's that i have run for the past 10+ years
