Bought two at Harley City In Brunswick  in January for the boss and me.$239 per helmet.  Also got the nolan BT3 intercom for each which was dearer than the lid.  Two up ride with the BIL and his wife through Gippsland then the high country to Canberra.  Little bit noisier than I would have liked but a good fit for my shaped head. Inbuilt tinted shield easy to operate.  Got totally drowned coming down the Hume, and had to crack the visor a bit to stop it fogging up. BT kit good. The boss and her sister talked pretty much non stop while sitting on the back for up to 5 hrs per day.  Touch up the charge each night and good to go for another day. BT kit was good for up to 300 m separation on the road, depending on surrounds. Used BT for hands free phone calls, people other end couldn't tell I was on the heritage. Fitting the chin guard without looking became second nature by the end of a week.  Happy as a pig in crap.

Arrived today, wrong size! Will swap it tommorow. Seems a large helmet but lots of features. Hope to put a few klm together before a 3000klm with a brand new helmet.

I have recently bought one myself, I have a bit of a boof head myself, and so for me the chin bar is something I can't use at all. I bought the N-Com with bluetooth kit 3, so it has an FM radio as well. I had a couple of issues to deal with. the cheek plates inside the helmet have a bit of a step in them and so I needed to shave them all down a bit, until it was all flush.I took a ride from Rockhampton to Melbourne and that step really played hell on my ears. the other thing is the sound insulation is not very good at all, so listening to what ever it is I tried to listen to rather hard, so I bought some accoustic foam and made a couple of extra pads to go around my ears, it made things a lot more comfortable and quieter, and it made listening to music a lot better. So with those couple of alterations, the helmet is now just perfect.

Have had mine for a week or so, no issues so far, seems bit noisier than my old helmet.

OK, I  picked up a gloss black one today. Will test it out Saturday and let you know how it goes. Those that are saying it is louder, compered to what? I usually use a open helmet that seems noisy anyway. It felt quite light to me and I made sure this one is a tight fit as my others have been a bit loose. I like all the different options, might have to look into the Bluetooth later.

If anyone is thinking about getting one, you can also get the same helmet without the chin guard for about $50 less but I went with the Trilogy.

Moving this to general discussions bike related.  No reason for it to be off topic.

Only used it as a full face so far, but seems ok. It is noisy, but no worse than my open helmet. Might look at getting some of that acoustic foam. I liked the retractable tinted visor even though I had dark sunglasses on, really cut down on the glare. After about 500kms the visor was covered in bug guts and was happy it was there. Anyone using the Bluetooth?

Played around with the vent on top, but did not notice any difference.

I use the blue tooth every day, I have the kit 3 which has an fm radio on board. Despite the noise you hear the phone works really well. Every one I have spoken to on the phone could hear me clearly. The acoustic foam just made listening to the music so much better. I am very happy with the helmet now.

Thanks Clive, what was the cost of the kit 3? and do you also have to have the basic kit 2? Total cost?

I can live with the noise, but for some tunes on those long rides the foam would be good.

Thank you. Will add it to the list, but won't be at the top.

I am looking into getting one of these. Going to Coffs Harbour in Dec for a run and don't fancy the open face across the hay plains, Grasshopper season... And those fuckers are big..... Also looking into the intercom bluetooth... Mate has a similar setup and they talk all the time...

And If i get it before Edenhope we can talk alllll the way over to Edenhope GT... Won't that be outstanding....... Caan't Waiit....LOL

On a serious note they are good helmets. My wife has a N109, and I used it once.. Good helmet but wind noise without the intercom setup is bad. Due to that little access plate on the left hand side for the intercom kit. If you don't use the intercom then get some Hi-density foam and cut to size and fill the gap... Problem alleviated somewhat.

I won't have the Bluetooth before Edenhope A J, but I got some tin cans and a long string.

Recently got the Bluetooth kit and tested it on a 950 km ride, only used for listening to music so far, but very happy with it. The guy at HH said pillion would need same BT3 kit, but looks like wife can use the basic kit 2 and connect with a wire between the two helmets? Really like the way it fits into the helmet, easy to use, with raised buttons for up/down and the main button to scroll through the menu is between these, so easy to use with gloves on.
Built in FM radio, bike to bike (4 bikes up to 500m), universal intercom for other brands.
