Sounds like a well thought out plan Hilly.
On a side note, got one of those new S&S 124's sitting in my lounge right now, putting in Karl's Roadglide.
Will be cool to see one of these running after reading so much about em over in USA.
You just gunna v tune ??

Hilly that sounds good but is it got enough CP?

Mine gets it's last ever dyno on FridayI, I will ask Fred if he does TTS.

that will have nice manners. Pulled .5 out of mine and much nicer to live with.
Think some times we get lost in the CP race and don't necessarily get it right

mine looks like having an extremely short life span.
on the dyno Friday morning just to see if I finally got it right and then and looks like being disposed of Friday afternoon

Hilly, any reason why you chose the SE 50mm TB ?
I used one on a 103 build before I found out they don't flow a lot better than stock.
What are your goals for the new build ?
I think you've got good streetable compression, after all, the 57 is only a taller 37.

you have put a lot of thought into it and sure there are other ways to get it done but your ideas are as good as any.
The 50mm should be fine, that's all I run on the 106 good enough for 118/118 SAE with stock headers

You have picked the best exhaust. Can I ask why the bigger inlet valves and stock exh valves? If you are looking for a good TBG Hoody does 52mm ones from stock bored. I did a 103 last week with one on and got 119hp/116 tq,with a less than ideal exhaust, so they work well.

People may hang shit on Wood Cam's for noise, but I'm a fan and they work. And as you've found out, they work within a wide range of compression.
I have his TW8's set at 200 psi cranking (~ 10.5) currently in my 95 cube. Feels strong down low, and pulls to the limiter.
Worried about the Gaterman's now though !!

What the problem with the gatermans guys mine are holding up fine with around ? K's guessing 15 to 20 K with no rattling yet.

Stock headers and TT mufflers will do 130hp. On a 120R or some such they are a bit down, but certainly enough for up to 110 or even had good results with 113s. I think the best I have had was 133hp with stock headers. Certainly have not found them restrictive in any way on a 103/106. Quite the opposite. I guess exh valve size depends on what flow the inlet is getting. I am used to seeing the larger valves on both. Cheers.

Don't want to hijack your thread Hilly, but I have a Dunn performance kit getting sorted now. Should ship on Thursday.
I've read a lot of your posts on here and would appreciate your overall thoughts on his work.

    Cheers.

    Thanks mate.
I decided to get cylinders, heads, pistons and cams from him. He's been really easy to talk to and has been super helpful.
Once everything gets here I will update my original post about this engine upgrade.
Should be interesting, first time I have put this stuff together.

Shit looks like the rollers are the weak link on the gatermans thanks for the info guys.My engine was around 9.8 with the stock slugs sitting down the hole around 6 thou in each cylinder. I brought a set of the early type twin cam CP slugs the have a different compression height from the judgin pin to the top of the piston so now my piston are around 5 thou above. I fitted 36 cometic heads gaskets giving me 31 squish and 10.1 comp.

Yeah mate the wood 5-6 cam.
Bob Wood told me 10.5 is posable with 5-6 but I would need twin deluxe jagg coolers for the expected rise in engine temps. The single jagg cooler keeps the engine temps down now at 10.1
