     Hi Guys,

Im Steve, am 32 and from Melbourne. After coming through riding dirt bikes and Jap bikes, I have finally bought my first HD and am wondering why I didnt do it sooner!

I chose the 2013 XL883 Iron to kick things off. Loved the blacked out look and have kitted it out with the usual matching black V&H pipes, screaming eagle intake, 2 inch tank lift, clip ons and screaming eagle race tuner.

Have a little one on the way and have already got the go ahead from the misses to get him a set of wheels once his got a few years up.

Love riding, have got a few acres also that i menace about on with the dirt bikes (currently out of action after stacking being a smart ass - will fix asap!)

Am keen to organise some rides with anyone whos interested, lend a hand on any projects - not that id be too useful but hey everyone enjoys a frothy while they work!

Feel free to hit me up and say gday, none of the boys have a HD so would be good to chat to like minded blokes.

    cheers all!
apologies on absence - misses popped out the little man which has kept us busy around the clock.
She has also been a champ and hooked me up with a set of forward controls for xmas. Final mod for bike will be the 1200 conversion but need to fund it by selling the dirt bike.

would be good to organise a ride before Xmas is there are any takers?

Welcome onboard dude, bike looks the goods!
I also rode dirt bikes, came through riding Jap bikes most of my life.
My young bloke turns 16 this December, makes this old biker proud as punch riding down the road with him on the back,,,,,,,,,,,,
Already looking for a suitable V-Twin for his learners, then help him get his first HOG when the times right.

Cherish every moment with him dude, once they've grown up life's never the same!

Cheers guys! Little man is the latest addition to the brude! Ive also got a 10 year old and a 6 year old with the ex who are worth more than their weight in gold. Ive started them off on a dirtbike and they love it.

my eldest loves hitting the road on the back of the bike and would ride all day and night with him if i could.

the ol' jap bikes definitely served their purpose, but wish i had of kept my last project instead of swapping it for a choock chaser............. i dont know what i was thinking!
I'd almost rebuilt the thing from the ground up to near new. had it dyno'd and jetted 4 times by the dynoverks superbike team, new fairings, pads and rotors, screen, lights, handles, seats, cowl, tyres, speedo
+ healer, pipe... f*$k me i spent a lot of $$ on it only to swap it for a dirt bike. will see if i can find a pic somewhere..

now, im getting older and the pace and lifestyle of the big H.D. is a much better fit! id like to say im getting older and hopefully wiser but mate i still make some decisions that would make ziping up the ol fella in your zip make more sense than some calls ive made. but we live and learn and hopefully dont make as many along the way.
