Hi Folks ... hoping to get some helpful info ... I have a set of 3" extended plates to go on my 2008 Fsxtc Standard forward controls ... I have the longer gear change rod and also the longer brake line for rear brake .
Have decided to go this way before I fork out shit loads of dosh on a set of Billet controls ... don`t want to buy a set of 3" Billets only to find out they are to far forward ... I currently have a set of 2" dog bone type of set up on at the moment which work fine but still feel I could go the extra inch .
My query is by moving the standard controls further ahead by 3" what type of effect will that have on the side stand ... where the side stand folds up under the primary will it still sit comfortably there some where ... and will it have any adverse effect when sitting on it`s side stand .
