Hi all,  just wondering how long it takes to charge a battery with a ctek trickle charger. I put it on yesterday afternoon around 5.00 and this morning it was still in the 2nd full charging stage. I am presuming if it's not fully charged this afternoon it is fucked. It is only a couple of months old and I got it from M and W Gold Coast. I didn't check before I tried to start it yesterday if I had put it to accessories instead of off.

it can take a good day or so depending upon how flat it is. They are a trickle chrager so the charge process runs very low current over a long period of time.

All depends on how flat the battery was, what condition the battery is in and what size your charger is.

Battery is only a few months old and it had enough to dimly light the headlight Hopefully it will be good when I get home.

Not familiar with this particular brand but specific trickle chargers are designed to maintain a fully charged battery only, not get one back from the dead. Many modern standard battery chargers automatically flick from charge mode to maintenance mode once charged (I got an excellent fully automatic one from ALDI not long ago for ~$40).

Either way, by now you're most likely to have found out that it just took a tad longer than you expected because of the points already mentioned above.

yeah it started this arvo and I took it for a quick ride and put it back on the charger, hopefully in the morning it is the trickle feed stage.

My trickle charger kept my battery running for about a year longer than I should have used it. Once the battery is fucked it's fucked, but you'll know the difference in how it starts after you get it charged...and if it just dies expectantly at random times.
