thought i would chuck some picks up of my latest mod, best of all it cost bugger all, just removed exsisting bracket, drilled a few holes further back and removed the original licence plate light, then ran some led strip lights under the rear fender. Just wanted to show off more tyre, what do ya's think?

    Before

    After

Good work.  It looks so much neater without the number plate light.

How well does the led light up the plate? Don't want the twisters on my case.

Yeah looks much tidier , but it could be much more costlier than first thought hey , this day and age you would have to think that if something went arai there's a good chance that your insurer would try to use it against ya ?
It'd throw a mean rooster tail though hey ?

Looks good Mick 82 ... hope your laws are better over there as opposed to Qld .. just got a defective notice today because I didn`t have the red reflector between the number plate and tail light ... if only there was some serious crime the police could be fighting instead of ridding us evil bikies off the roads because our bikes are so unsafe due to no reflector ... do you get the feeling I`m a little pissed at our police force here .

Good on ya Mick helping out the young girl ... be interesting to know if the prick got off with a warning or some thing more suiting his crime .

I to have all my original parts for such occasions ... must be one of the reasons us Harley riders end up with so much stuff in the sheds , Lol .

Enjoy the bike man , they are one cool looking machine .

I like that. Cleaned up the back nicely.

I wonder if those LED license plate bolts would throw enough light instead of getting a strip.... hmmm

so did you take the angle grinder to the original bracket or just use some flat bar or something to make a new holder/bracket.

im guessing you cut the original yeah since you said drilled holes further back.. I'm about to do this today however wouldnt mind keeping the original bracket, though ill have this bike quite a while

Yeah mate all sorted. Heaps better now. I'd throw a picture up but I'm back out west. I also pulled the pussy pad and replaced the 2 gigantic nuts holding the seat on with 2 black dome nuts. Good mod mate, looks business. Cheers

Hey there I like the led's on your handle bars looks heaps better than the factory indicators.  How are they mounted to the bars?

Just jump on eBay and search "amber led light strip" they are the second listing called "led light flexible". That's the best I can do for ya champ I know f all about computers. When you cut the strips you can only cut them 3 at a time, you can have 3,6,9 etc. I have 10 on each side but only 9 work if you kind of get me.

What size torx bit? Also did you just take bracket off and drill holes for number plate higher up on bracket eg like over the old number plate light or did you mount the bracket back further in the fender? Thanks

Just wanted to know if you have any pics of the mount before you put it back in, as im having issues working out how to cut and redrill these holes.
