Hi Guys , Girls { if your out there } and moderators ... been here for a little while now and have recently changed look of my ride ... was wondering how to change the Avatar pic ... every time I go in and remove old pic and browse my catalogue and choose another more recent one only the old one seems to keep coming back .

Will post a pic of my old colour scheme , the 2008 Anniversary colours ... Copper and Black ... and then the new ... basically all Black , you know that rare Harley colour , Lol .

How I got her , with just a few changes .

What she looks like now .

Ur avatar is the black bike... Must have been your cache. Try to shift refresh (load new data) if it's still happening.

I presume you get forum legend by being a gas bag, talking too much. I never even noticed it until you said it, so thanks to you too :)

Yeah looks great TJU , I like that tank decal logo font , how do ya find the seat and bars compared to what was on it , it would almost feel like a new bike wouldnt it ?

Scotti ... thanks for the compliments ... I was real happy I chose that style of logo , it was a bit of a change up from the Sporty type logo but not as arched and of course in Old English Font and instead of Motor Co , I went with Motorcycles in a slightly different shade of silver / grey ... nothing real out there but different just the same .

Yeah the ride quality is a million times better ... if I had to pick 1 or 2 things out of all the things I have changed on the old girl since buying her .. { and there has been heaps , Lol } .. that really made a difference I think it would have to be the Mustang seat and Heal support foot pegs ... the seat compared to the bad lander is just amazing and its a bit hard to make out the pegs in the above pic as I have them folded up but dead set they made riding the Softail so much more enjoyable .

I was one of those new Softail riders that felt my feet especially my right one was always trying to blow off the peg which unconsciously made me press down and hold my knees together just that little bit more than one should which resulted in being a bit worn out after a decent 400 to 500 k ride ... after putting those Kuryakan pegs on it just transformed the ride .

    Thanks again ... Tim .

Thanks Blac ... yeah the old rim is still ok ... in fact have it mind for my possible next project ... just have had a thing for spokes wheels all my life , can't really say where it stems from just seems to follow nearly every bike I have had .
