Anyone use any progressive suspension products on their bike? Does it make a big ride difference? I found a seller on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Touring-Kit-Heavy-Duty-Shocks-Chassis-Link-Stabilizer-Lowering-Monotube-Harley-/251310656914?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a83484d92&vxp=mtr) That has it for right around $1,000 US, plus shipping. They come up as the lowest including shipping, and say that they guarantee delivery from the states in 5 business days.

Is there a big difference in ride using these products? I was thinking about getting this for my 08 ultra.

Has anyone used this ebay seller before either? Sounds almost too good to be true with the delivery time and price.

I bought the progressive 430's for my wide glide in the black edge cut look. Bought them of ridersdiscount of eBay and got them in 5 days with tracking all the way for under $400 ( high $).  Not only do they look great, but they are 100 times better then the stock ones, maybe the ikons are better again but for the money I am very happy. But pay with PayPal in case you are worried.

Have just had the 422 series with RAP .. { Remote Adjustable Preload } .. for the rear and mono tube for the front put in my 2008 Softail and a bit to soon to tell but so far a great improvement ... a little firm at this early stage but as I am of the larger variety of the male species the guy who did the work for me thought a fair bit of preload was required , I think he is trying to tell me something , Lol .

Certainly rides the bumps better , that's for sure .

Progressive mono tube front end kit works well , I didn't lower it though , left it standard height , a noticeably firmer ride and restricts front end dive under brakes , also reduces po'going or chatter on rough shit during cornering , they say there is better front end mods but I've had no trouble with the progressive mono tube kit , a definate improvement over stock front internals !
    Cheers

I would keep trying to resolve the issue through them , maybe call them , pretty fucked if their product is falling apart and the dial seized , being a Fatboy low , have they been bottomed out much or at all , not sure on the the reasonably late model RAP Softail set up but progressive suspension are usually fairly solid units and a reputable brand I thought ?
