I did on my old Fxdc 5mm stainless button head. Cap screws Bottom of chamber on the back Filed small flat Fibre washer I had forks polished also($50)
fitted ikon springs and if I needed to change oil weight didn't have to remove wheel ,cant do on new bike as chrome forks and may flake chrome
