So I destroyed my clutch on Sunday afternoon...........................hahah, how you ask? Doing line lockers and doughnuts on the Sporty; all things a side, it was a lot of fun!!

The reason I am posting is that I need a new clutch and want something heavy duty.  I've looked at the SE one and that's kinda where I am heading, however though I would ask the question on whether anyone has/is using anything other than the SE?

    Cheers

I'm running an Energy one kit with the heavier spring, Seems to be good so far.

It was about $200 usd with the spring compression tool and took about an hour to fit.

i've fitted a SE one to a 48, i hope your left arm is strong, the fuckers are heavy. But like anything you'll get used to it. Also check with Hammer performance as i think they do a kit also. I'd take their advice as they play with this shit all day everyday.

Thanks guys, have been looking at Energy 1 vs. SE. I'm thinking the SE is the one that will go in but the reviews I've read about the Energy 1 are pretty good and its 80 bucks cheaper!

Cant you also get a kit that modifies the clutch lever to make it easier to pull in for all the muppet arms out there?

From memory the Hammer boys threw in an Energy One clutch at Bonneville last year after their other clutch blew. They are now an Energy One dealer.

The BTX-11 extra plate kit has the medium spring & you hardly notice the difference at the lever.

It has probably fucked the rivots in the spring plate (very common). You could just buy a 1200 pressure plate and I can send you a few clutch plates and a intermediate plate to get you back on the road cheaply.
