I have the standard bars on my FXST, ( I call the beach bars ) I was going to change, until I done a couple long rides and now are very happy with them. Very comfortable, No sore shoulders. I will not change.

an old mate told me many moons ago try and keep your hands below your heart,,,,especially on long rides,,,mine are probably just above with the 10 inch apes... just something to consider

    cheers Jimmy

Courses for horses. Had 14" apes on Dyna and now 16" apes on Road King and have no issues on long rides. A bonus is I also sit more upright instead of slouching over (like I did with stock bars and T bars) and my shoulders don't ache anymore as well. Win win for me with apes.

What model bike are you fitting the beach bars to SnakeMan?

Agree, either beach or western bars look nice on a heritage, as do apes. Best to do a Google image search and see what looks good to you.

Had the wide westerns on my heritage which I found better than the 12 inch apes
