hey shingles, ive been working like a dog for the last 3 weeks and got to take my bike for a run this arvo. i fuckin loved it. i rode down the coast through some lovely big sweepers and then back up the mountain road with a lot of tight corners. (jamberoo mountain road) i fuckin loved it mate. i dont ride as fast as you so maybe thats why i dont have a plastic windscreen but i have a visor on my lid when i need it. fuck man, i enjoyed this arvo. i stopped off for one beer just before i got home and i dont think there was a happier man in australia. you might have to go to a different quack and get the leg looked at by some other quack. some are good some are bad. best of luck to you son

What ever happened to mark hood's 106 build? Last I saw was that the cams were going to be changed from a .590 lift to a bigger cam.

Funny story about your old bike, the 10,000 mileage and eventual restoration. I had a look at your pics and you have some nice bikes there. One of your pics is outside of a prison - hope you didn't just get out when the pic was taken ??

Have not been on the forum for a while. When this thread popped up again I just had to comment.

I have a Fatbob with a 120r. The dealers put a download in it and told me it had been dyno tuned.

Couple of months ago I took it to Lushy. Went from good to fantastic.

Not only more power and torque but no hesitation or spluttering.

Get your bikes tuned by a pro whether modified or not. Base tunes and downloads dont cut it.

 

Bat, I had a set of street bob headers with a set of Vance and Hines slip ons that lushy modified and the bike went 125hp 135 ft pounds. 

Great result man.

Kept at my mates supercharged Rocket 111 until he hit the magic 300 RWHP

Thanks for info. Not easy finding those mufflers anymore and they're not made in black. Any other suggestions for suitable mufflers available in black for dyna staggered headers? I don't like obnoxiously loud either
