Bike Scissor Jack

    G'Day guys, anyone know where to get those scissor jacks that are used when you have a bike on a bike lift so you can change rear wheel etc? Any advice much appreciated

    Hey HD I think justbikes has an advertiser that sells them, might even be Radum. I think they are about $100. Bit keen on one too.

    theres a company called advanced lifts here in perth in Bassendean they sell all sorts of workshop equipment thay have the air lifts aswell ando got he's from them
    I got one of the jacks from them retail is about $100.00 they do have a online website

    no worries hound dog they are a bloody good quality item to worth the money even though they are made in china .

    Burnzi, just rang, those guys have no stock and are pretty pricey at $150 with none of the attachments.

    Maybe, bit concerned about movement in the rivets. Theoretically if the front of the bike is tied down correctly this shouldnt tilt.

    They used a lot of these at the Desal for jacking pipework into position. There's had a v shape welded onto them onsite and the pipe sat in the V. They all got thrown in the bin after they were finished with. I reckon they would have worked if they were cut back to suit the frame rails on the bike.

    Yeah, got one of the Repco lifts a while back. It's quite good, and I should have got one long ago, but I have to say, the one from Radum looks a better proposition to me personally because of it's compact size.
