So I dropped in at my painter's today to see the makings of my new paint!
I am loving it - a bit to go yet.
Cant wait to se the whole lot done, lookin good.

So here is some pics of the lead up to the top coat.
Paint is a saphire blue candy on a silver base.

OK - So we are getting closer. I have the guards, and the tank will be here on Thrusday.
All I can say is the pics don't do it justice. This candy paint is impossible to photograph. If you look at the firts pic of the guard, you would not know there are flames - which is exactly what I wanted. Pete nailed this paint job, and delivered EXACTLY what I was wanting. I can't wait to get the tank!!!

Mongrel mate, those tins look awesome. Certainly makes your bike stand out. Great colour, bike will look even better once tank & seat are fitted. Good job.
