When I got my ne bike I got. Super tuner in the deal I got the tuner but no software.
The parts catalogue says it comes with software but Frasers says I don't get it cause I may want to play with the tuning and muck it up and risk damaging the engine.
In theory aren't I still entitled to get all I paid for?
The Clayton,s Tuner ? The tuner ya got when ya don,t actually have a tuner . Just buy a PCV or similar and wash your hands of them .The bike was what you were after , and ya got that .

Ok here we go. According to Harley Oz the part number that Frasers use does NOT come with software BUT I can download it free of charged from a web site they provided. I need to put in my serial number of the tuner and I can get the software. Harley Oz said that the part number in the catalogue is a USA part number and not Australian. You work it out.
Im wondering if I should ditch it after what Tim said and buy something else.
Did they give you the website? I have had the same issue with Frasers and they have never pointed me to a download.
Just a point about se software.
Cant speak for street supertuner, but if you got the pro supertuner, keep in mind that when you get the software disk, its not compatible with all versions of windows.
EG: I bought the pro supertuner in 08, had to buy 08software disk and cables separately as was the norm. All works fine on windows XP, downloaded a map and all good. Bought a new laptop with windows 7, The 08 software will not run on windows 7, Harleys software is not back engineered. If you buy or get the software, take your laptop in at that time. Ensure that you ask dealer if it runs on your windows version if you run windows. Buy it and load whilst still in shop. Only takes a few minuets to load. If it doesn't. your right there.
It wont matter if the 2012 softwares not available anymore, buy the 2013 as it contains all previous models maps back 10 years or so.
The other tip is, make a mirror copy of your version of windows incase yours shits itself, cause if you buy a newer version of windows, software may not run. you can easily reinstall your earlier version of windows of your mirror disks and away you go or buy a cheap 2nd hand laptop as I did to run XP and 08 software.
The 08 software wont run whats called a nuance file on windows 7 home premium. Harley wont tell you what a nuance file is.
All good tips as I was also looking at getting the Eagle Super Tuner, cheers.
If you have problems with the -08 version of the software it needs a file called dotnetfx35 which is found on the CD under the folder /issetupprerequisites.
If your computer has updates set to automatic you will need to run this time and again as it is required for the Super Tuner software to load.
Just saying.
