I went riding a couple of weeks ago with some of the gentlemen off of this forum and I remember someone saying about a group of bike rider who were stopped at a petrol station when a cop drove by. He turned around and parked and was seen writing in a book. Not long later all the bikes at the petrol station received EPA notices even though not one of the bikes was running nor did he follow or observe any of them.

Can someone point me in the right direction to where they read this and were it happened.

It was me you boofhead. It's in one of the LTR issues but my mate has them. If someone has LTR books then it will be in the news section at the front. Unless i get the books first. they dont need to see any bike running... this applies as any1 can report any 1 for a noisy vehicle and you get the "go get tested" letter... you pay 50 bucks regardless if your bike is quiet as a mouse or whatever... some asshole has reported a mate of mine 4 times... he has been tested 4 times

Yeah can't believe that they forever bang'on about safety , even "increasing the sound" of emergency vehicles because of safety but expect the most vulnerable of those not to be seen or heard on the roads to quieten their rides down , just don't make fuckin sense ?
It's nothing to do with emissions , my neighbours stereo , vacume cleaner and them push bikes with motors emit more smoke and noise than my roadie with MO's ?

You should have to put your name down if you dob someone in (the person dobbed in doesn't have to see it) then the testing fee should be given to the one in the wrong...
