Really happy with these genuine Harley accessories. I've always hated the look of windshields on Harleys but they serve a good purpose for long rides. I had the windshield fitted but still got some buffeting so ordered and fitted the chrome wind deflectors. I took it for a test ride along a hwy nearby and really easy at 120 with practically no wind. Will be really comfy once I get my mustang seat and pullback risers fitted. I reckon ill be able to ride for hours on end then.  The only criticism I have for the Harley quick release windshield is that it isn't too quick to release and put on.

Wind deflectors are a must with a shield, and the quick release is very tight when new.

Do you still have the wind deflectors, and would they fit a 2014 Fatboy??

Bit the bullet and got the wind deflectors. It was a calculated risk that they would fix the buffeting issue, I would rather spend $126 to find out if they work than ditch the $500+ windscreen and buy another shield for $300+!!!

Anyway, easy fit, although it suggests 2 additional washers in the instructions (WHY?? Seriously, why can't ALL the parts be included??). I went ahead without the washers, making the deflectors not quite parallel to the forks (don't care). Took it for a spin and there is almost no wind at all!! When I put my knees out in da breeze, buffeting straight back as bad as ever, pull 'em back in, calm as!!

These things really work. Note I have my windscreen cut down by 100mm as well, as the original height caused major amounts of buffeting and was cutting my eyeline.

If you have a screen and bothered by buffeting, get em.
