Hi all ... does anyone have one of those modern Speedo / Taco`s that most Harley dealers are selling ... have always been keen on having a Taco and was wondering if they are fairly accurate .

Also with the fuel gauge that comes with the item does that render the Left hand Tank fuel gauge not working or do they work off different sensors ... and again how accurate do you all think they are .

And can one fit one them self at home or does the dealer have to do it as I presume there is a way to swap the K`s from original speedo to new unit .

Put one on my 2010 fatboy was as easy as and very accurate and the tanl gauge still works too

Nearly bought one this morning down at Gasoline ... missed out by 15 minutes , last one they had sold to someone else who had the same idea it seems ... wasn`t meant to be , Lol ... I can always get one later .

I have one on my 2010 Fatboy Lo, I have had it for twelve months dide like it at the start but now I dont like it. Fuel guage was accurate and Tach ssemed to work fine.

Problems now with this speedo/Tach, If the bike is left in the sun it will get heaps of condensation on the inside of the glass, fuel guage and clock dont work anymore, plus it now has a VINER displayed on the LCD screen now after a failed start. Im going to put standard speedo back on.

My son got me one for the Dyna and am most happy with it ...haven't yet worked out how to program the different coloured backlight yet though

i have had the new speedo tachometer for some time I love it's a good thing the your Kim's are automatically transferred over you have no choice it has all you will need.

Got one on my Road King, was on it when I bought it. Love the tacho as I had one on my Dyna that came standard, use the tacho heaps. Mine doesn't have a fuel gauge built in and it never gets any condensation.

Ended up getting one today guys ... went to Gasoline , wanted 393 + 87 fitted ... rang competition ... Wackers , 345 , went to service guys to just check I had the right plugs and what not and he said he could do it there and then ... I asked how much and he said not much as it only takes a few minutes ... first one didn't work , wasn`t leaving me with a good feeling , Lol ... second worked no problems ... asked how much and he said no charge , you bloody beauty ... Bought AND fitted 345 .

Every thing works fine ... haven`t played with dazzling lights as yet ... only thing that doesn't work real well are these old bloody eyes , Lol ... numbers are incredibly small compared to my original ... just take a little getting used to I suppose .
