For those of you with Mastertune2 with the BLUE HD-06 interface the Flight Recorder software has now been released to the public on our updater. So now you can record data without using a PC on the closed coarse testing you all do.

Thats good news on the M2 being able to record. How long will the M2 be able to record data compared to a laptop. Any news on the software for master-tuning the timing as that will probably push me into buying the new dongle.

The recording time will vary based on what you select to record, but in general you have around 8 hours plus. Once you set the interface into the Flight Recorder mode your done, no need to start and stop or worry about it, as it takes care of itself. So if you hook it up and then ride for awhile and stop to get gas or lunch no worry. The system saves the first recording and just starts a new one when you fire it back up! The unit can hold a max of 64 recordings before it stops or until you run it out of space before it stops and waits for you to upload the data from it and clear out the old recordings.

On the updater just check the box at the beginning of the line and then the add selected updates button.

steve i have updated all software and have noticed that the egr effect tps analyser doesn't work on vtune files,had an old version of the software on another computer, transfered vtune file to that and it works fine,which seems its in the new software, i may be wrong but have tried on a few different files and all the same.

We will look into it for you as I haven't used that function for along time. Got some new things coming that I hope will be out by the end of the year.
