if it's a success on the tourer then they may move it across the range as years go buy.

Not much to worry about or to get excited about there.

I must say though really LOVE what they have done with the Fatbob.

Seems to me they've really gone out of their way to help my 09's resale value.

I've seen them but not yet ridden one....tomorrow. I'm most interested in the non water cooled as the techs say even the softails have new engine management. Waiting ro the Tech Fourm to confirm this? Here is a picture showing the neat stuff...love the panniers and top box latches--one hand. Tex

Thanks for the pics texusa they're much appreciated and welcome to the HD forums , yeah practical changes and upgrades by the MoCo for sure and long overdue some might say , I thought I read a while back in heavy duty mag that the heads have been made with the water cooling galleries for some time (TC96 on ?) already in anticipation of the switch to twin cooling ?
Would like to know if them new tourer panniers would fit my '09 FLHRC , can't see why not though hey ?
There has been a mixed reaction to the changes especially the Fat Bob rear which I'm sure was initially released in Europe a few years back , although its definately different I personally don't mind the overall 'theme HD have set out to achieve in the paint set tank decals , wheels and rear tying all up with the twin headlight front ?
Thanks again for posting the pics , Cheers mate !

Note that the Australian market will get the Street Glide (standard) only with the 4.3 inch Boom!Box. NO "Special" with the 6.5 screen and upgraded rear suspension. Also we are supposed to get the FLHTCU Classic Ultra WITH the water cooled 103. The USA only gets the air cooled FLHTCU.

Thanks again for the pics and info Mike , seeing the mounting rail , shock and lock pin retainer tabs look very similar to previous models including mine , maybe they would fit up , but if it states '14 on , then maybe they are mounted slightly different , I will have to wait and see or keep an eye on the forums for more info on that and how the other new mods are faring , that glide looks sweet as and i can imagine that colour would stand up brilliant in the sunshine , what are your thoughts on the latest HD range and mods so far , any more news , Cheers

I can just say the new bikes that I have seen are spectacilar...not just the touring but also the unsung Sporsters. The Boom! Boxes honestly, I don't even use my 2012 Road Glide radio, cb, or CD. The sounds of the road keep me happy. Mike

Yeah i like them all , I'm not a huge fan of the sound system on my bro in laws '12 ultra so maybe this is now an improvement , I suppose it has its time and place when chosen , I much prefer to hear what's going on around me and thought the bat wings are already heavy enough , thanks for posting the extended saddle bag pages Mike , pretty expensive and I'm not sure I like the side on angle hey , though they probably look great from the rear , I do like the look of the new shape , lids and hardware of the standard hard panniers which I may source 2nd hand down the track for my '09 Roadking Classic if they do suite which I feel they might ?
Is the new price listed for the '14 OEM panniers and lids , probably similar or more in price to the extended lowers ?
Have you seen the Fat Bob up close and personal and what is your thoughts on it's new guise ?
Thanks again for posting up the info , cheers mate !

The Fat Boy is what it is. Maybe a little 1971 Super Glide. I didn't like my Dyna so only kept it 13 years and 225,000 kms. Wish I still had it for day rides!
