on the 4me site in the weekly guide it doesn't list the show, however on the home page there is a 3 day guide. Thursday 16.15 "Heavy Duty TV" AEST. I don't see any guide for different states so I guess we all get to see it.

Geez ... hope I haven't started a Boarder feud , Lol ... was just hoping to get some ok T.V. about bikes ... will check out that web site .

Hey Hilly ... I`m a Queenslander through and through but just to clarify is the Ville short for Townsville ... it seems most regional stations out side of Briz Veagas get the decent shows and good old built up Brisbane .. { I`m actually from the Logan area } .. get all that must watch T.V. like .. Big Fuck wit .. and next X Factor rip off .. you know all the stuff we really need in our lives ... NOT NOT NOT .

Pauly .. hopefully our riding compatriots from down south haven't been watching the weather reports from up this way ... apart from the last 2 weeks or so it`s been decidedly shit house weather for ages ... nearly thought I would have to go out and buy a Sombrero and start learning Mexican ... Sorry folks , just a little Qld Humour ... while we may be the undisputed Champions of Rugby League we still are shit on by the Southerners when it comes to most National Teams ... Cricket ... Union ... bugger all Queenslanders .

Of course we are so used to good weather that when it does rain for more than 2 week ends in a row we think God has taken leave of his senses ... these last couple of weeks though He`s back and firing on all cylinders ... which for most of us here are 2 bloody big ones , Ye Ha .

Happy Road Riding all ... Tim .

Bike going in on Tues 27th ... picking up on Sat 31st ... baring any hiccups , Lol , or Fred and Jamie getting over run as usual ... new rear belt was the original reason as I`ve picked up a small hole in the middle of it ... could of kept riding it like that for ages but thought might as well get it done as Fred had a belt for sale at pretty decent price .

As he has already installed my PC 5 and Dynoed it , I thought again as he had a set of Cams at a dam fine price why not get him to drop them in while it is there , he will also install the S & S adjustable push rods and Fuelling Lifters and of course remap her for me ... my M6 Hayden Primary Chain Adjuster had turned up from M & M Cycles , Ohio , so yep it is going in as well ... also out of M & M came my Progressive Suspension , Mono Tube front and 422 rear with the Remote Adjustable Preload .

While all this has been waiting to happen my new paint work has been finished by Mark out at Queensland Motor Cycle Panel & Paint ... yep another new addition when she leaves the shop ... nothing wrong with my current paint work , in fact in pretty good nick and being the 2008 Anniversary colours is one of the reasons for taking it off and keeping it in good condition ... you never know one day down the track I might want to put it back on for a bit of a change or God forbid if I sell the old girl it might go better with the original paint work .

Now lets see ... uh yes also putting on my 21 x 3.5 Ride Wright front wheel to go with the 17 x 6 i already have on the rear ... had to slightly modify the standard front guard in the mounts to raise it so the new bigger tyre doesn't rub ... siting a lot closer to the tyre as opposed to standard Softail front guards ... just have to make sure not to close , Lol ... don`t want tyre expanding and jamming up the front end .

Just to finish off the front end I`ve bolted on a 13" RC Components front rotor to assist in the braking with my new 6 piston PM Calliper ... haven't made up my mind yet but might also change my speedo for one of those new ones that have the Taco and Gear position indicator and all the fancy Lights ... prefer the older style face but like the idea of the Taco as the Cams Flatten out around the 4800 to 5000 rev range and it would be nice to know what Revs I am sitting on sometimes and while I don`t know if it is just me or not but no matter what bike I have ever ridden I`ve always liked the idea of knowing what gear I am in at times .

As this thread was about a T.V show I best shut the Fark up I suppose , Lol ... which by the way I just watched on channel 74 .

Sic - Puppy and Ozy , hoping Fred will be able to leave the Remap to last thing on Sat . Morning so I can be there to see the results ... he`s predicting low 90`s HP but will wait and see ... bit hard to get any time off work this week so if chooses to do it before I can be there so be it ... so what started out as a couple of hundred dollars for a belt replacement has turned into one BIG FARKING HOLE IN THE OLD WALLET , Lol ... with hopefully just as BIG a Smile on my dial .

Might catch up with ya`s down at Fred`s ... and fingers crossed for Legendary Qld weather for pick up day ... cheers guys ... Tim .

Hi guys, I'm spewing that after reading the above posts, that I missed this show. ( I haven't had much time to go on this site recently, as ive been too busy helping my wife look after our newborn Son, being very sleep deprived & tired). However, I've done a quick search through YouTube & have found some videos done by David Cohen, from Heavy Duty. They are just test rides and reviews on the bikes, but really are quite good to watch. I came across one video that Tussock might be interested in, about a nice looking Turbeod Road King, which was a former Chopper Works bike. Anyhow, id thought I'd share what I came across briefly. Wish that I could have copied and pasted the link, but I'm posting from my iPhone. Just search David Cohen bike tests. Hope you guys enjoy these vids.

By the way, I tried looking for this episode on the tv4me catch up link, but cannot find it in their TV guide. It would have been good to watch online, oh well hopefully I remember to keep a look out for it next Monday or Tuesday, here in SA.

Hey, I was disappointed it didn't go for longer, especially the McCully Customs bit. I wanted to see the whole transformation of that fellas dyna low rider. Will there be a follow up episode? I hope there are more episodes to come.

Yeah GT, I'm with you on that stupid infomercial crap. You get enough of that on morning tv during the week and weekends, without adding to it. Couldn't they push that shite aside for more Heavy Duty, & or McCully Customs? Now I like that kind of stuff, very informative and inspirational.

Hi guys new to the forum. The first episode was aired as a pilot. McCully Customs was first approached by a production company to film a bike build last year as a potential pilot show for an Australian bike building series. Since our show was going through the editing stages we suggested to the producer that they approach "Heavy Duty Magazine" for some involvement. Our show "McCully Customs" has been compressed into a 1 hour episode which should be airing soon on (I think) chanel 7 Mate. In the interim filming of  the shows dynamics have taken another direction as well; hence "Heavy Duty TV" where we appear on the tail end of the program and they have also spoken to us about doing an extra segment in the show as well. I think Walka meant by "in the can"  was all filming of our 1st bike build in the show "McCully Customs has been completed, and they are editing. The Heavy Duty show was also a pilot and am not sure when the next episode will air. I'm tipping October but not sure. If we are to get any further filming done on future builds will depend on the publics reaction to it so hopefully everyone can get behind us, thanks. If you would like to see some progressive shots of this build and more of our work we have a Facebook site called  McCully Customs and look forward to your feedback. Cheers guys.
