Thinking very hard about fitting 2 into 1 pipes on my bike a couple of reasons for going this way is to change the bikes appearance and want more low to mid range performance not real worried about top end speed most of my hi-way ridding is done at the speed limit.
I ride a 2001 Dyna the bike has been fitted with S&S gear drive, Andrews 510 cams, hi-flow oil pump, crank trued and welded, and some other motor work, so now looking at pipes as my next step to get a bit more grunt.
My biggest problem so far is finding some pipes at the moment looking at Vance & Hines I have used there pipes before and they always fit well and are high quality but trying to find any other brands to fit earlier model bikes eg: below 2006 models are far and few in between.
So a couple questions to ask here those who may have fitted 2 into 1's on your bike did you feel you made the right choice or were you happier with the 2 into 2's and also looking for some photo's of 2 into 1's fitted to your bike prefer earlier model Dynas shots if you got them and also what brand of pipes cheers.
Tried the 2 into 1 but couldn't handle the sound and look. Back to 2 into 2 for me. Bike runs good anyway
D&D fatcat
Anything from D&D will put a smile on ya dial . And dont worry about how they sound to you when your riding, they sound awesome to everyone else. Loud enough to be noticed but you can keep em quiet when you need to.
D & D Lowcats, good low to mid range, great sound.
