Welcome to the forum, one word of advice don't lower it.

     Why do you say that.

Does it not ride any good or do you scrape.

    Advice is always handy.

    Thanks

Both, you will scrape the end of the Vance and Hines lower pipe especially on roundabouts and alter the way it handles
but in saying that if you don't ride it hard it probably wont matter.

     Handy to Know.

Thanks for the advice and i will definately keep it in mind.

I do tend to ride a little harder than intended as i come from a motocross racing background.

    Thanks Again.

Nearly forgot to mention the most important piece of info, watch you don't scrape a

hole through the bottom of the primary case. (if you lower it and ride hard)

All of this is worse case but it does happen.

Hi there, welcome aboard. Let me know how comfy the brawler seat is on long trips. I'm 6'2 and feel cramped with my std seat, even with 2" extension plates added to my forward controls.

Thanks for all the welcome messages guys.

    To 06 Softail.

I love my brawler seat. Not quite as wide as the original and is definately comfy enough for long trips.

Well thanks again guys loving every minute of it.

    Cheers

     Hi All,

Well seeing that I was going to open a thread introducing myself I saw this thread and also being from Melbourne and the South East and just received delivery of my Night Train early this week, I thought maybe best I join in this thread. Hoping original poster wont mind.

I am 58 and have been riding well over 40 years, Ridden all sorts of bikes but this is my very first Harley. I fell in love with the Night Train a year or so back and said i have to have one. I still have 2 other bikes namely the original Copper/Silver Hayabusa of 1999 and a Classic CBR1000FK thats going on club plates early next year.

Bike is a 2009 import that had 1700 miles and in mint condition. The extras you can basically see for yourselves exept for the stage one filter and tuner thats in there. One of the first few things I intend to do is add rear brake Tri-lights and smoked lenses. Change levers to chrome with inserts. Footpegs and grips going to hold back a while till I get comfortable and know what is best for me.

I just love this bike, I hope I still feel the same way years down the track.

PS. Excuse my double post but I also want to intro myself on the Softail thread where more same bike riders are likely to see.

Hey Volvi, I don't think it's cool to hijack someone's intro mate. Can you please shift this post into a fresh introduction, cheers.

     Looks Real Nice Volvi.

Did your bike come with that speedo or did you have it put in. If so what was the damage on that i quite like that.

Can do a trade if your after the original. HA HA

What suburb are you from? Always keen for more people to come riding.

Hi There, thanks for letting me join with your thread. I had no intentions of hijacking just thought we had so many details in common and can share data on same page. The speedo was installed by the importer here in Melb., he reckoned for the few extra dollars that it would cost he wasnt going to cheap skate. Yea your pipes look great, same as mine with different contrasts. Im in Bentleigh area, yea we should get together and exchange notes. Like did you put the tri-led in or did it have it already. Interested in the Brawler seat to see if improvement on original as I ride solo 99.9% of the time.

Those black pipes suit your bike, do they already come with O2 sensor bungs?
