     Hey All,

So i'll be picking up my brand new 2013 Fatbob in a few weeks and I'm planning on putting saddlebags on it.

I use the shit outta the saddlebags I have installed on my little Hyosung and was just hoping some of you guys could shed some light on what you guys have found to be the best saddlebags.

Are you guys able to give any reviews/pictures/advice on saddlebags suitable to use with a Fatbob?

yes these can be detached similar to the pillion rest and rack and are locked in place with a key. You nee to order the Edge mounting brackets with the bags

I got the same ( Edge) but bought from a Young guy from Gosford NSW. He imports quite a lot of stuff, and is good to deal with try him, I saved around $180. compared with importing or buying in Oz elsewhere
Austsales Direct 0405 247 408 ( Matt ). I got onto him originally when buying a jacket & a leather Vest a few years ago.

Donster, was the indicator relocation kit needed for these? I have an '08 Bob.

Check the clearance on the standard mufflers before ya spend the cash. All the samples pictures shown have non stock exhaust systems which have more clearance. Just a thought.

No indicator relocation required. that is also one of the reasons I went this way because everything fits up nice without any mods

    good luck

I have found a set of saddlemen saddlebags but the mounting brackets are not quite right for my bike (2013 Fat Bob) so I am looking at these brackets, links below.

Can you guys tell me if they will work with a detachable sissybar set up? Or do I need longer bolts from Harley?

I used Easy Brackets.  Simple, lockable, detachable and can attach pretty much any bag to the bracket.  Good quality and no need for any ugly hardware to be left on your bike when the bags are off.
