I was talking to a fellow rider and he reckoned the local Harley mech told him to put half a cup of metho in a full tank once a month to clear all the shit out of the bottom of the tank.
Anyone tried this ?
This is for picking up water. Its something I do with my boat to pick up and burn any water from rain, washing or condensation. Any other 'shit' will be/should be sorted by a fuel filter. Especially relevant in humid areas. I.e. tropical north Australia.
