Hi there, this is probably a stupid question, but how do you stop the stupid passenger pegs from coming down as you are riding.  I can't see any bolts or nuts I can tighten up, Perhaps i should try and degrease the joint and hope it rusts up?

Look at these 50912-72 Spring Washer

You won't get two in. They loose their tension over time. Put a new one in and see how it goes. You can re-bend them but it will only last for a short time untill it fails again. This happened to a mate and he took out the clevis pin and replaced it with a chrome bolt and nut, so he could tighten it up and hey presto rocky, no more floppy pegs. Hope this helps.
