My good deed for the day!

Hey all thought I would share my good deed for the day.

Was driving out the back of Maitland and went past this bike and its owner not looking to good and in the middle of no where near houses!

So I turned around and went back and asked him if he was ok.

Turns out he was quite dehydrated and had been stuck there for ages as he thought he would take his old girl out for a blat to test out the fuel lines he had been tinkering with.

I said to him "It was going so well you thought you'd just go that bit further didn't ya!"....Well the smirk on his face said it all!!!

He must have been 80 in the shade God love him..

I gave him my bottle of water and used my mobile to call his wife and set up for him to tow his bike home and then I was on my way.

I asked him if I could take a photo of his bike and here it is :) He even had the old leather helmet with the aviator goggles!!

Shit the old fella must have used this bike in the war, he's even got his rifle, don't fuck with him I say, hahaha. Good on him for still riding at his age. Great looking bike.

    Yes I did feel good.

Being a chick I do get a few funny looks when I ask the men if they need help!!
I always stop and ask my fellow bikers if they are stopped on their own as you never know and I would hope someone would do the same for me if I needed it.
In this old fellas case he had no mobile phone and didn't want to leave his bike so was pretty much fooked.

Another time I was driving and in a side street I saw a bike parked with what I thought was someone laying down with their back leaning against the bike on their own.
I went and ran my errand then on the way back 20 minutes later this person hadn't moved.
So I'm thinking oh great he's had a heart attack or something so drives to the bike and as I got closer I realised it was just a bike jacket propped up against the side of the bike and the helmet sitting on the back seat!!!
    I.D.I.O.T I thinks to myself <img src=" align="absMiddle" src="/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif" />

Don't know mate I didn't want to ask! ha ha
It looked pretty real to me but I am no expert.
The bullet holes on the guards were stickers. The rifle holster and the saddle bags were really thick leather with brass studs and the seat was thick leather as well with brass springs under it.
