A few thousand years ago in about 1976 I worked for Malvern CC in their Parks & Gardens Division. One of my workmates was a nice quietly-spoken red-haired bloke with an earing by the name of Quentin Meadmore.
He used to bring in the latest copy of "Easy Rider" and I always loved the chicks and the bikes but especially the bikes! I never knew then that I would end up one day owning a Harley but I reckon he had a bit of influence over my taste in bikes. One thing we had in common is that we both got sacked at the same time!! I'm still a bit pissed off about that.... after all..... we were only having a smoke!
I lost touch with him a long time back and can't seem to find anyone who knows him through the usual channels. I did see a pic on a website that showed a custom Panhead built by him at a Melbourne bike show.
If anyone knows how I can contact him I would very much appreciate it.
cheers
Neil

not a very common name.... guess you tried white pages on-line!!!! very few of them in each state, try ringing... just a thought
all the best
Mighty fine job there Wozza..... now...theres this girl i knew once.........
I did try ringing several of the Meadmores in the White Pages a couple of years back with no success. Quentin's uncle was a very famous sculptor by the name of Clement. He built that huge steel bit of artwork which from memory is at the corner of Queen St and Bourke St. (???) It's been a few years since I lived in Melbourne. Here's a similar pic:

I'm sure all the Vic guys will know it well!! I did try contacting a few HOG clubs in Vic but no luck.
Amazingly, I know another young bloke in Mandurah whose name is also Meadmore. Quite a coincidence for such an unusual name.
Try this out kiteman
