    Hi everyone,

Does anybody know someone who details Harleys in Melbourne?

This is my first Harley Davidson, I don't really know where to begin, nor have I the time to spend many hours labouring away.

    Thanks.

Not that I use them but Peter Stevens do a full detail when they service your bike.

Unless your bike is really fucked up or for shows, just ride it, wash it every two weeks or so - and polish the chrome as (hardly ever) needed.

It would take longer to ride it to a detailer than to wash it.

    In that case.
How do I go about cleaning it? Can you guys suggest some products for the chrome polishing etc.

    Cheers

use CT-18 in a spray bottle, scrub with a brush from a dust pan, use a sponge on tins. pressure wash clean, blow dry with compressor, and if you want to get a bit fussy use mr sheen and hd engine brightener. This will bring your bike upto show room clean, and should take no longer than 1 hour.
