With mine I just didn't like how far apart it pushed the trees. Bottom tree almost acts like a fork brace...

Yeah that's exactly what my mate was concerned about after installing them , plus the now unfounded worry that they were going to bottom out ... but after riding it now for a couple of weeks he is pretty happy with the out come .

Same here. Never bottomed out but it was an aesthetics thing.

Was just saying in another thread ... we did a 550 K ride on Sunday , I took him on some old Qld back country roads ... you know the type , great scenery but have there fair share of bumps and washed out spillways ... he and bike handled it all no problems .

We were up for a small bike show at a place called Kingaroy ... Joh country to us old Queenslanders ... anyhow his bike got its fair share of looker`s admirering the little things he had done , so gave him more reason to be happy apart from the best weather in months up here ... un fuckin believable ... fingers crossed it stays good for this week ends show down in Cleveland .

    Safe riding fella`s ... Tim .

thanks Tim for the info, I would have to get fork overs as I like the look of the raked front ends and don't want my bike lower. It will be something for later on as there is other things I want first and if going extended forks I might even look at the triple trees.
A few of us are heading up from the Gold Coast on Sunday to the Cleveland show so hopefully catch up there.

Hi again Steve ... was just checking out some of your pics ... did you end up using the Lowbrow mirrors on your bike and if so what do you think of them ... how are they for vision and vibration ... were they very exy and where did you find them .

Yeah fingers crossed for a couple of good days of weather so the event organisers don`t cancel the show ... Again .

the mirrors were around $100 and the quality is good but not a lot of vision out of them. They would be better if they have a slight wide angle lense in them. I got them off ebay and it was a member from here.
